A note from the Author/Designer/Developer

Hello and welcome once again to the homepage of Thikana Dhingsara and Bajekan. Myself Kr. Abhinay Rathore, son of Th. Ashwapat Singh Rathore of Bajekan. I was born and brought up in Dhingsara and Bajekan. After completing my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Gwalior, I came to U.S.A for pursuing my Masters. I completed my Masters in Computer Science from the University of Missouri and have been working in U.S.A. Presently I am working as a Front-End Software Engineer with Facebook.

In vain have you acquired knowledge if you do not impart it to others.

Being from the field of web development, I felt it was my moral responsibility to create a website to showcase the royal culture and heritage we belong to. With the proliferation of computer technology around the world, internet serves as the best medium to connect us and share the knowledge. So, please feel free to spread the word and let everyone know about the culture we belong to. In August of 2012 I launched a new site to host information for all the Rajput Provinces of India where users can contribute and update the information (http://www.indianrajputs.com).

Acknowledgements

First of all, a million thanks to Prof. L.S Rathore, Former Vice Chancellor, J.N. Vyas University, Jodhpur and Col. Hari Singh Chanpawat Rathore for putting in all the effort to write a book on the great Ballu Singh Ji Chanpawat : A new history of Ballu Chanpawat Rathore of Harsolaw-Marwar (A.D. 1591-1644). This book has preserved one of the greatest heroic story of Rajput warriors ever told. Through this book everyone will remember the heroic deed of Ballu Singh Ji and pass on to coming generations.

I would also like to thank all the elders in our Thikana for helping me generously with all the historic information they had about ancestry and achievements. Thanks a lot for showing your faith in me and I hope I lived up to it.
